Lysning designs for the months when the light matters most. The studio works in blown glass, spun brass and powder-coated steel, and publishes the colour temperature and output of every fitting rather than a wattage equivalent.
Drivers are replaceable on every model in the range, and the fittings take standard bulbs. A Lysning lamp is meant to outlast several generations of lamp, which is a different design problem from an integrated LED that dies with its housing.
Description / Lumina Floor Lantern
A sculptural outdoor floor lantern combining powder-coated steel and frosted glass for ambient garden illumination. The geometric frame houses a frosted glass cylinder that diffuses candlelight beautifully, creating a warm, inviting glow.
Dimensions: 25cm diameter x 65cm height. The lantern accommodates pillar candles up to 10cm diameter and 20cm height, or LED alternatives. The powder-coated steel frame is fully weather-resistant and UV-stable, maintaining its matte black finish season after season. A sturdy base ensures stability in outdoor conditions. Suitable for patios, decking, or garden pathways. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
