Lysning designs for the months when the light matters most. The studio works in blown glass, spun brass and powder-coated steel, and publishes the colour temperature and output of every fitting rather than a wattage equivalent.
Drivers are replaceable on every model in the range, and the fittings take standard bulbs. A Lysning lamp is meant to outlast several generations of lamp, which is a different design problem from an integrated LED that dies with its housing.
Description / Luna Wall Sconce
The Luna Wall Sconce combines timeless materials in perfect proportion—a slender brushed brass arm extending from the wall to cradle a luminous opal glass orb. The effect is both functional and poetic, providing gentle task lighting whilst serving as a sculptural accent. Ideal in pairs flanking artwork or a fireplace.
Materials: Brushed brass arm and mounting plate with handblown opal glass shade
Dimensions: 35 cm projection from wall, 25 cm height, 12 cm glass orb diameter
Electrical: E27 bulb fitting, 40W maximum, compatible with LED bulbs. Hardwired installation required.
Care: Polish brass with a dry cloth to maintain lustre. Dust glass with a soft cloth.
