Nordhem has built upholstered furniture in Jämtland since 1948, starting with dining chairs for the region's school canteens. The workshop still sits on the same site, and still makes frames from local pine and birch.
Every seat is built around a jointed hardwood frame rather than a stapled one, which is what makes the covers worth replacing: Nordhem stocks replacement covers for ten years after a model leaves the catalogue, and will re-web a frame at any point in its life.
Description / Haven Platform Bed
The Haven Platform Bed brings Nordic serenity to your bedroom with its signature rounded upholstered headboard in luxurious bouclé fabric. The clean-lined oiled oak frame creates a floating silhouette, whilst the generously padded 120 cm high headboard provides comfortable back support for reading.
The included slatted base ensures optimal mattress ventilation. Available in Queen (160×200 cm) and King (180×200 cm) sizes, and three carefully curated bouclé colours: Cream, Oatmeal, and Sage. A centrepiece of Koti's warm minimalist philosophy.
